Acceptable Use Policy

Use of the Service is subject to this acceptable use policy (“AUP“).

  1. Capitalized terms, unless specifically defined in this document, have the meaning stated in the applicable contract (“Agreement“) between customer, reseller or other authorized user (“You“) and MEDIC52.
  2. You agree not to, and not to allow third parties or Your End Users, to use the Service and/or the system underlying the Service (the “System”):
    1. to extract the personal and/or sensitive information of others (in particular, patients) stored in the System other than those authorised by law to receive it (in particular the patient to whom the information relates);
    2. use information collected on the System on social media, email or other personal networks, or publicly on the internet
    3. to violate, or encourage the violation of, the legal rights of others;
    4. for any unlawful, invasive, infringing, defamatory, or fraudulent purpose;
    5. to intentionally distribute viruses, worms, Trojan horses, corrupted files, hoaxes, or other items of a destructive or deceptive nature;
    6. to interfere with the use of the Service, or the equipment used to provide the Service, by customers, authorized resellers, or other authorized users;
    7. to alter, disable, interfere with or circumvent any aspect of the Service;
    8. to test or reverse-engineer the Service in order to find limitations, vulnerabilities or evade filtering capabilities;
    9. to grant multiple individuals access to an individual End User Account other than via the delegation features provided within the Service;
    10. to create End User Accounts assigned to business functions rather than to human beings for the purpose of sharing files within or outside of the domain;
    11. to generate or facilitate unsolicited bulk commercial email; and
    12. to resell End User Accounts or parts thereof as added into a commercial product offered to third parties.
  3. You are responsible for:
    1. the security of any device you use in conjunction with the System. We recommend that you add a passphrase on your device, and/or password on your computer, which should auto lock in under 10 minutes,
    2. all charges incurred by mobile or internet service provider, and
    3. reporting to us any attempts to compromise your account, or suspected break ins of your account
  4. Your failure to comply with the AUP may result in suspension or termination, or both, of the Service pursuant to the Agreement.
  5. We reserve the right to alter the AUP at any time, by posting on this webpage the amended AUP. You are responsible for checking the terms of the AUP at the time you use the website, the Service and/or the System.
